Technology
I've been working as an English teacher since graduating from university. I take pleasure in integrating non-standardized technologies and tools into my classroom. For instance, in recent years, many schools in Taiwan have equipped students with personal devices, and numerous teachers in Taiwan have introduced technology-based courses to keep up with this trend. In my previous school, there was a course called 'Distance Learning' for elementary students. They were required to use various technologies and tools, such as audiovisual recording equipment, to create their self-introductions, weekly projects, and videos.
Additionally, I've taught my students to use Jamboard and Google Workspace for answering questions, sharing ideas, and completing group projects. Moreover, teachers use Trello to communicate our activities in class to each other. Lastly, I've experimented with various IRS tools to promote more interaction in class, including Mentimeter, Pear Deck, Slido, Kahoot, Edpuzzle, Quizlet, and Flipgrid.
